2018 is the 25th year in a row for the Open Yard boat show. All boat manufacturers, boat dealers and relevant boat accessories exhibitors are invited to show boats and equipment during this weekend. This is Scandinavia's largest sailboat show.

Lecture at Open Yard Weekend: Around the globe in a Hallberg-Rassy 43
As the tradition has it, there will be an interesting lecture on Saturday evening at the Open Yard weekend 25 August 2018. The lecture will be held in English by Americans Bob Frantz and his son Eric. Bob and Eric had dreams of sailing around the world. Join them to hear the ups and downs of the adventure on their Hallberg-Rassy 43, Blue Heron. What was the genesis of their dreams? What were the obstacles they faced and how did they overcome them?

Open Yard center for European Yacht of the Year
We are happy and proud to announce that the Open Yard / Öppet Varv marina will be the official center for the European Yacht of the Year tests in northern Europe. The prize is given by the twelve leading European sailing magazines after through tests of nominated boats. The tests will take place 28-30 August 2018.
The Open Yard/Öppet Varv boat show in Ellös, Orust, West Sweden, will take place 24-26 August 2018 This is the 25th consecutive year for the popular show, which is
Scandinavia's largest sailboat show. We show both new and used premium yachts as well as a lot of equipment.

The very first Hallberg-Rassy 57 sees daylight for the first time. World premiere at Scandinavia's largest sailboat show, Open Yard/Öppet Varv, Ellös, Orust, West Sweden, 24-26 August 2018. This is the 25th consecutive year for this show.

Hallberg-Rassy 57 nominated for European Yacht of the Year
We are pleased to report that the Hallberg-Rassy 57 has already been nominated to the honourable title European Yacht of the Year 2019 in the category "Luxury cruiser". That means that the Hallberg-Rassy 57 has been ranked as one of the most interesting and promising newcomers of its class. The nominees for European Yacht of the Year award are selected by journalists from twelve leading European yachting magazines. Nominated yachts need to be thoroughly tested and evaluated in a lot of
different criterias and the result about the winner will be revealed in connection with the Düsseldorf boat show in January 2019.

The highest available credit ranking by UC in Sweden is 5, Gold. Not only one but all Hallberg-Rassy group companies in Sweden have achieved this highest possible ranking.

The Hallberg-Rassy 412 has won the "Product of the Year" award at Korea International Boat Show 2018.
The jury says: “In recognition of great contribution to the development of Korea’s marine leisure industry by introducing the superior technology of the overseas product in the Republic of Korea”

A record 43 yachts in the Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins 2018
The 2018 edition of the traditional Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins has seen a record number of participating boats. 116 Hallberg-Rassy sailors with a record 43 Hallberg-Rassy yachts joined the rally.

Hallberg-Rassy 44 prize winner in Adriatic Boat of the Year 2018
The Hallberg-Rassy 44 has won the second place prize in the Adriatic Boat of the Year 2018 in the category Cruiser over 41 up to 60 feet.

Hallberg-Rassy Parts open the whole summer
Hallberg-Rassy Parts will as usually be open during the summer. Now in a 260 m2 shop in the yard's marina area in Ellös.
The boat production at Hallberg-Rassy Yard is on summer vacation until 10 August. Hallberg-Rassy Germany is available all working days the whole summer.
